Raising AKC Standard Poodles is no easy task. It requires commitment, dedication, and feeding only the highest quality food. That is why we were so glad to get to try Wild Calling!® Pet Food. We were fortunate enough to try their Western Plain Stampede® Beef Recipe. It came as a dry food in a 4.5 lb bag but also comes in 13 lbs and 25 lbs. As soon we opened the bag, our dogs knew they were in for a real treat! Even our little puppy, loved the dry food! We added a little warm water and let it soak in for a moment to soften. He was in heaven! This little guy can grow up to be a show dog, hunting retriever, agility competitor, or a service dog. We want him to get the best possible nutrition so he can grow up strong and healthy!
The beef recipe is all natural and uses GlycoEdge which takes advantage of three specific ingredients to help limit the glucose and insulin spikes; tapioca (quick release), sweet potatoes (moderate release), and lentils (slow release). All of our dogs enjoyed the beef recipe dog dry food, but Sasha enjoyed it the most!. She definitely appreciated the extra protein and energy while hiking the Cascades with us!
We also tried their rabbit meat, known as Hoppy's, which came in a 13 oz. can. It is one of eleven different flavors available in that size and one of nine flavors that come in 5.5 oz cans. All of their canned meals are made from 96% meat, poultry or fish produced here in the United States. You can see by the photo below that it was well received.
Good nutrition means feeding foods each day that will give our pets the vitamins, minerals, and other dietary essentials they need to keep their bodies strong. It means ensuring our pets eat food that give them enough calories to maintain a healthy body weight and are getting enough protein to keep their bodies built up and able to repair any damage that may occur.
